The Istituto Superiore “San Pellegrino” is most important vocational school in the area of Bergamo which boasts a very long experience (almost 60 yeasr) in the Professional Education involving the field of Cooking, Catering and Hospitality. Our students learn and use the best techniques and instruments to learn how to become chef, maitre and Head of hospitality. The education of our school is recognized at any International level and many prizes have been honoured to our Institution. Ours is a boarding school and we host many students/boarders coming fom different area (such as Milan, Lecco. Lodi, etc).
From a geographic point o f view, San Pellegrino terme is situated in the Brembana Valley Brembana, that’s why it is also called the "pearl of the Brembana Valley". The liberty buildings, the historic wellness center with spas, the world-famous San Pellegrino water and drink factory are some of the most important attractions of the territory.Today tourists can dive into the past and relive the same glories of the early twentieth century by spending time in the New Spa, recently restored and implemented according to a project that also includes the recovery of different builduings.
The school has 870 students enrolled and divided into 35 classes, in addition to the Tourist Technician, Food and Wine, we also have some Education and Professional Training classes. We have 87 teachers and 20 teahers to support students with disability and to implement inclusion, 4 cooking laboratories, 2 laboratories, 4 dining rooms used to do training as they were rooms of restaurants, an educational bar and 4 tourist reception laboratories, 1 outdoor gym. In addition, the staff for the boarding school is made up of 20 teachers plus about 80 janitors.
